19/02/15

Asia House, the centre of expertise on Asia and the UK’s leading pan-Asian organisation, is looking for a Researcher to join its Business and Policy unit.

The Researcher will support the development and production of Asia House publications. This will involve sourcing and commissioning content from contributors, liaising with designers and proofreaders, as well as coordinating print production and related services.

In addition to working on Asia House publications, the Researcher would work closely with the Business & Policy Programme Manager to provide background information and documentation, as required, in the development of events in the Business & Policy Programme.

The post holder will also contribute content to sponsorship proposals for publications and events as required, working closely with the CEO, Director of Corporate Affairs and Corporate Membership manager who liaise directly with potential sponsors.

The successful candidate is likely to have knowledge and understanding of international relations, global politics, macroeconomics, and business – especially with regards to Asian countries.

Asia House is an independent and impartial forum for discussion and debate. This role, suitable for an early-career stage individual seeking experience working on publications, will offer opportunities to work with well-known multinational companies, institutions and governments alongside an established world class programme of events.
