    Briefing on the impact of the UK Bribery Act

    Asia House Corporate Members were joined by Andrew Mitchell, Director, Prosperity at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, and Satindar Dogra, Partner at Linklaters and co-Head of the firm’s Risk, Regulation and Governance Operational Intelligence Group, for a briefing on the UK Bribery Act and its impact. The broad ranging discussion, which was held under the Chatham House Rule, covered a number of areas including the impact of the Act on UK companies operating both at home and overseas, as well as how the Act is affecting the perception of the UK as a centre for business around the world.

    Companies represented at the briefing  included Standard Chartered, Diageo, GSK, Eversheds, and PwC.
