EIB Vice President talks Brexit and operations in Asia

Jonathan Taylor, Vice President of the EIB, briefed Asia House corporate members on Friday about the bank’s operations in Asia, green finance, their co-operation with other multi-lateral banks and their involvement in China’s Belt and Road Initiative.

Jonathan Taylor has been Vice President of the EIB since 2013. As part of the EIB’s Management Committee, he has a role in drawing up the Bank’s financial and lending policies. He has particular responsibility over the Bank’s activities in several Asian countries including China, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. He also leads the Bank’s work in climate action and in other environmental lending policies.
