Professor Mei will present an in-depth introduction to Chinese medicine.

Focussing on herbal medicine, the lecture will discuss the benefits to sufferers of conditions which conventional medicine may not be able to treat, as well as looking at the preventative aspect of Chinese medicine for health, vitality and longevity.

A passionate integrator of medicine between East and West for over three decades, Professor Man Fong Mei is currently a professor of Chinese medicine at Guangxi medical University, Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. He also has many years experience teaching Chinese medicine and acupuncture to western doctors at the Chinese Medical Institute and Register.
