Asim Haneef spent the past five years honing his skills in all areas of international TV News: Documentary and Online Multimedia Production, distribution, research, writing and editing.  He has worked for some of the biggest broadcasters in the industry including Al-Jazeera English, The Guardian, BBC, Channel 4, Bloomberg, Dispatches and Journeyman Pictures.

Presently at Al-Jazeera English, he is responsible for Al-Jazeera's series on grass-roots social activists, 'Activate,' and developing a series on social entrepreneurs and innovators for Al-Jazeera in 2013.  He is continuously working on additional smaller projects related to International Development, Social Enterprise, Technology, Philosophy and Innovation.
