The Asia House Fair returns to New Cavendish Street, bringing all the buzz of Kashgar and the Silk Road to you for one long weekend.
This year we present our largest Fair yet with over 35 stalls offering the best in arts, crafts and design from across Asia. We have focused on unusual handcrafted items for your perusal. Pop-in over the weekend – enjoy the atmosphere, pick up some gorgeous gifts for yourself and others, and indulge in afternoon tea in the Mackwood’s Tea Room. Saturday 13 April
11.00-11.45 S JO - Seher Mirza, developed S Jo in in collaboration with Sindh Rural Support Organisation. Alongside creating a sustainable fair wage income, hear more about these exceptional community projects aimed at empowering village-based craftswomen from Southern Pakistan.
12.00-12.45 Le Konsphin - A brand with a unique socially responsible approach, sourcing artisanal handmade traditional fabrics from Vietnam and incorporating this into bespoke designer pieces. Find out everything about the company's exciting community projects in Vietnam.
14.00-14.45 China Life - Join a delightful Chinese tea Party and embrace harmony and balance through a fine tea lecture and tea tasting. By participating to this workshop you will ignite your passion for tea by learning about its history, cultivation, variety of flavours and well-being properties. Unmissable!
15.00-15.45 Zardozi - Markets for Afghan Artisans - Zardozi support life-changing projects for talented Afghan craftsmen and women and find markets for their beautiful embroidery products. An inspiring talk that will enable guests to understand the ethical choices driving the projects, and the extent to which these can change and improve the lives of hundreds of people.
16.00-16.45 Children of the Mekong - Founded in Laos to help orphans in the region, their aim is to educate, train and support the children and youth in Southeast Asia in order to enable them to improve their material living conditions and to develop intellectually, emotionally and morally. Don't miss the opportunity to learn about their project in Cambodia and find out how to get involved!

12.00-12.45 Sylvain Guenot - Sylvain will talk about his trips to Asia, and specifically Hong Kong where he found inspiration for his latest art project 'Les murs de Hong Kong'. This talk will offer a private tour into 'dream-like landscapes, mysterious faces, animals, and plant forms' that Sylvain saw through the lens of his camera.
13.00-13.45 Shirdak showcases the richness, artistic beauty and extraordinary quality of the traditional felt and silk textiles of Central Asia’s nomadic tribes. Discover how each item of Shirdak collection of felt rugs, felt slippers, woollen hats and cushions has been made, traditionally produced, locally sourced and environment-friendly produced.
