Explore opportunities for doing business in Thailand

    Published On: 13 May 2016

ASEAN is the world’s 7th largest ‘economy’ and by 2030 it is predicted to eclipse Japan’s and be the world’s 4th largest ‘single market’ after the EU, US and China.

Strategically located at the heart of Asia, one of the world’s largest growing economic regions, Thailand is well placed to offer a gateway to both the ASEAN and Asia-Pacific markets.

The UK is well placed to play a key role in what is being dubbed the ‘Asian Century’. It has a strong trading relationship within Asian markets, but more UK companies need to position themselves now, to take advantage of the popularity of ‘Brand Britain’ and the predicted increase in the level of opportunities over the coming decades.

As a part of an upcoming series of seminars being hosted by the Thailand Board of Investment in support with the UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), the UK ASEAN Business Council and the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), come join us for a networking breakfast seminar at Asia House on Thursday, 2 June from 09.00 to 11.00 to hear from market experts and entrepreneurs present an overview of Thailand’s innovative policies and strong business infrastructure. Speakers include the Thai Ambassador to the UK Khun Kittiphong Na Ranong.

    Sessions include:-

09.00: Registrations and networking with tea & coffee and breakfast
09.30: Opening remarks from Khun Kittiphong Na Ranong, Thai Ambassador to the UK
09.40: Presentation from Khun Duangjai, Deputy Secretary General, Thailand BOI
