Infrastructure banker Frederic Thomas has left the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to join Glenn Fox’s infra debt investment division at HSBC Global Asset Management in London. Thomas spent seven years at the ADB in Manila, where he was senior investment specialist, working on project bonds and green bonds for the multilateral lender.

Meanwhile Jackie Surtani has rejoined the ADB from Siemens in Hong Kong, as director of private sector operations, in Michael Barrow’s team. Previously Surtani was senior investment specialist at the ADB based in Manila.

The moves come as the ADB begins its 50th Annual Board of Governor’s Meeting in Yokohama Japan on Thursday, where over 3,000 delegates – including finance and development ministers, central bank governors, private sector and civil society partners – will attend.
