“Shaping an interconnected world” is the motto of Germany’s G20 presidency 2016/2017. In an unusual move, Germany has put forward a set of principles including free trade to be signed off by the G20 members later this week in Baden-Baden, reports Reuters.

This G20 meeting of finance ministers and central bank governors will be the first one attended by representatives of the Trump administration.

Following this meeting, Indonesia’s Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati will brief Asia House corporate members about regional and global issues and Jakarta’s responses.
