Asia House Brexit Series: Lloyd’s CEO

In the wake of the British referendum on EU membership, London is facing great uncertainty as a global insurance market. The structure of post-Brexit EU-UK relations is unclear. How will the process of leaving the EU impact the City of London’s status as the most important insurance market globally?

To give insights into how the City of London could retain its status, Chief Executive Officer of Lloyd’s Inga Beale will join Asia House corporate members for a private briefing.

Beale held senior positions in General Electric and Converium (now part of the SCOR Group) before joining the Group Management Board of Zurich Insurance Group in 2008. She was appointed CEO of Lloyd’s in January 2014 and has since been hailed as a moderniser and reformer.  With over 20 years’ experience working in the insurance industry in various global offices, she has an in-depth insight into global financial and insurance markets and creating business opportunities.

This event is open to Asia House corporate members only.

This event is taking place as part of the Asia House Brexit Series, which encompasses a number of seminars and private briefings. In this series we are monitoring developments following the EU referendum with a focus on both the UK’s and the EU’s relationship with Asia both economically and politically.
