Asia House, the London-based centre of expertise on trade, investment and public policy, has launched a new Advisory Board to support its work driving engagement between Asia and Europe.

The Asia House Advisory Board – which includes global business leaders and former senior representatives from governments and multilateral organisations – will play a key role in supporting Asia House’s advisory practice (Asia House Advisory) as well as contributing to the wider Asia House programme.

Members of the Advisory Board include Stuart Gulliver, Non-Executive Director of Jardine Matheson Holdings and former Group CEO of HSBC; Dr Kai-Fu Lee, Chairman and CEO, Sinovation Ventures; Miriam Sapiro, Managing Director at Sard Verbinnen & Co and former Acting and Deputy US Trade Representative; and Sir Martin Sorrell, Executive Chairman of S4 Capital and Founder of WPP.

Members of the Advisory Board will offer guidance on issues related to commercial and economic relationships between Europe and Asia and support Asia House’s efforts to provide insights and intelligence to its international clients. They will help shape and enhance Asia House’s forward-looking programme to ensure it continues to deliver informed, relevant and valuable events for stakeholders.

Lord Green, Chairman of Asia House, said: “With more than 20 years of experience in engaging with Asian markets and working with global organisations, Asia House has built up a strong network of international business leaders and policy figures. The Advisory Board will help us to better leverage that expertise and ensure our clients are able to make informed decisions based on the most up-to-date and relevant insights.”
