Asia House returns to Hong Kong and Singapore

    Published On: 2 October 2019

Asia House is returning to Hong Kong and Singapore this autumn to convene two major trade dialogues.

The Asia House Future of Trade conference takes place in Hong Kong on 30 October, and will be followed by the Asia House Global Trade Dialogue in Singapore on 7 November.

Both conferences will explore the forces shaping the global trade landscape, from policy shifts to disruptive technologies.

They build on the success of previous Asia House forums in Hong Kong, Singapore and Dubai which assembled leading figures from global business and policy to explore the most pressing issues in world trade.

The Future of Trade – Hong Kong Stock Exchange, 30 October

    A timely discussion

Asia House is bringing the Future of Trade dialogue to Hong Kong at a crucial time for the city, where the ongoing crisis has raised concerns about Hong Kong’s future as a global financial centre and its role in world trade.

The forward-looking agenda will cover the future of global trade amid the US-China tensions and slowing global growth; the FinTech revolution; and sustainable infrastructure in Asia.

Lord Green, Chairman of Asia House and former Chairman of HSBC will give a major keynote speech on the economic and geopolitical shifts taking place in Asia, and how they will reshape the future global order.

Other speakers include Ambassador Robert Holleyman, former US Deputy Trade Representative.
