Infrastructure Asia’s Seth Tan briefs Asia House Corporate Members

With a population of more than 650 million people and increasing urbanisation across the region, there is a growing infrastructure need in Southeast Asia. To help meet that need, Infrastructure Asia, set up in 2018, acts as a bridge between private and public sectors and works to close knowledge gaps across project developments and finance.

Seth Tan, Executive Director of Infrastructure Asia, outlined the organisation’s work and shared insights on Asia’s wider infrastructure landscape during an off-the-record briefing for Asia House Corporate Members.

Chaired by Charlie Humphreys, Director of Corporate Affairs at Asia House, the briefing explored key trends in the region and the opportunities arising as economies seek to close the infrastructure gap.

The importance of leveraging relationship circles to improve infrastructure projects was discussed, as were financing and investment models. The role of Sustainable Development Goals was also covered in the exclusive briefing, held on 11 December at Asia House.
