Asia House, the London-based centre of expertise on trade, investment and public policy, is seeking the views of senior business leaders as part of a major research project on the future of global trade.
If you are a decision maker working across the Energy, Research, Consulting, Oil & Gas, Renewables, Sustainability and Trade sectors, we would like to hear from you. We’re convening a roundtable discussion in Houston on Thursday 12 March. In addition to providing an opportunity to feed into a high-level report, commissioned by DMCC, the focus group will also provide an interesting dialogue platform for attendees and help you to further build your network.
The roundtable takes place at the JW Marriott, Downtown Houston, on 12 March, 09:00 – 10:30.

ABOUT THE RESEARCH
Asia House has been commissioned by DMCC, one of the world’s leading free zones and a Dubai government authority, to research and produce the 2020 edition of the Future of Trade report. This dynamic report looks at the changing nature of global trade, examining the impact of new technologies on the business environment, trends in commodities trade, movements towards more sustainable business models, and the geopolitics that underpins global trade flows. The report is a synthesis of worldwide viewpoints on what the future holds, and is based on research, data, indices, and interviews with leading trade practitioners and business leaders.
As part of this, senior decision makers from business and policy are invited to attend a focus group at the JW Marriott Hotel (Downtown Houston) from 9.00 – 10.30am on Thursday, 12 March 2020.
The focus group will be led by Asia House Chief Executive Michael Lawrence, and attended by senior representatives from DMCC. It is one of eight that we will be facilitating worldwide – others will take place in Zurich, London, Shenzhen, Johannesburg, Silicon Valley, Singapore, and Dubai.
The focus group will be attended by around 15 selected practitioners and experts on various aspects of global trade, finance, technology, sustainability and politics. The sessions will aim to explore the future of trade and gather insights from real-world business and policy experts. In addition to providing an opportunity to feed into a high-level report, we also hope the focus group will provide an interesting platform for dialogue for attendees and help you to further build your network. The discussions will not be attributed.
