    Staying safe at Asia House

    Published On: 11 March 2020

The safety and wellbeing of our staff, clients and visitors is our top priority at Asia House. This means we take hygiene and cleanliness extremely seriously, with daily professional cleaning throughout the venue and the highest hygiene standards maintained.

In light of the coronavirus, we have taken additional measures to mitigate risks and ensure Asia House continues to be a safe space for meetings, events and business activities. These include:

    Additional cleaning services

Alongside daily professional cleaning, Asia House is carrying out additional daily treatments of the surfaces particularly at risk of spreading coronavirus. These include light switches, door handles and push plates throughout the building.

    Increased hygiene and antibacterial facilities

Tissues and antibacterial hand sanitiser gel are available at key locations throughout the building, including in meeting rooms and event spaces.

    Clear advice and guidance

We have installed additional signage conveying Public Health England advice and hygiene information, which are on display in prominent locations throughout the building. We are updating these in line with the latest Public Health England guidance.

    Continuous monitoring

We are following the advice from the UK government and are watching closely the responses of other governments, from Asia to the US, to ensure we keep our staff, clients and visitors safe.

If you have any questions or concerns about safety and hygiene at Asia House, please contact Philip Woodford-Smith, Director of Events, at: philip.woodford-smith@asiahouse.co.uk
