A new Asia House Research report explores four key areas where the UK and China can cooperate on decarbonisation.
As COP26 concludes amid commitments to do more on climate change, Asia House has identified four key areas in which the UK and China can work more closely on decarbonisation.
The report presents four key recommendations for UK-China coordination on decarbonisation in order to help mitigate against climate impacts. It calls for an acceleration and broadening of green finance and more cooperation on developing international carbon markets. Co-financing greener infrastructure development and deepening cooperation on climate innovation are also key areas of opportunity for the UK and China, according to the report.
