Driving commercial and political engagement between Asia, the Middle East and Europe
Perry Warjiyo, Governor of Bank Indonesia, will update Asia House Corporate Members on Indonesia’s economic outlook during a private briefing on Tuesday 8 November.
Speaking just weeks before the G20 Summit in Bali, Governor Warjiyo will discuss how Indonesia – recently described as a “bright spot” in the world economy by the IMF – is bucking global trends, and how the central bank aims to leverage the country’s economic momentum to encourage foreign investment.
The central bank Governor will also discuss how businesses can play a role in the country’s ambition to reach net-zero by 2060, with a focus on green finance and a just energy transition.
This in-person briefing, moderated by Asia House Chief Executive Michael Lawrence, is being convened exclusively for Asia House Corporate Members. To register interest, please email Edward Danks, Programme Associate, at edward.danks@asiahouse.co.uk
