The Asia House COP26 Programme brings together senior decision-makers from business and government to discuss key issues around sustainability and climate change through a series of private briefings and public conferences in the lead up to COP26 in the UK in November 2021.
The programme has a particular focus on Asia, providing a platform for voices from the region to share their views, concerns and challenges around the COP26 agenda. The programme is supported by research and analysis from the Asia House Advisory team in the UK and in Asia.
The Asia House COP26 Programme has already hosted COP26 President Alok Sharma, Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy; John Murton, the UK’s COP26 Envoy; the Saudi Ambassador to the UK, HRH Prince Khalid Bin Bandar Bin Sultan; Ken O’Flaherty, COP26 Regional Ambassador to Asia-Pacific and South Asia; and Christine Loh, former Undersecretary for the Environment, Hong Kong SAR.
The Asia House COP26 Programme also offers an opportunity for organisations that are actively addressing climate change issues to raise awareness of their work and position themselves in this important global discussion. For more information, please contact advisory@asiahouse.co.uk
