As a leading think tank driving economic and commercial engagement between Asia, the Middle East and Europe, we produce in-depth research on individual markets in the region, the trends shaping the trade environment, and Asia’s impact on the world economy.

Key themes we are exploring

• Asian markets
  We produce research on markets across the region, including China, India, Japan and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). Topics include trade developments, digitalisation, and sustainability, as well insights on sector value chains and emerging opportunities.
• The Middle East
  Our research feeds into the Asia House Middle East Programme, with a particular focus on the relationship between the Middle East and Asia, energy transition, and economic diversification.
• Asia’s policy landscape
  We track policy developments across Asia, identifying regulatory obstacles and political drivers that could impact global trade.
