Arkhom Termpittayapaisith, Minister of Finance, Thailand, will update Asia House Corporate Members on Thailand’s economic outlook during an in-person briefing in Washington DC on 12 October.
The Minister will discuss Thailand’s efforts to boost growth through investment in infrastructure and digitisation, and will provide an update on the economy as inflation continues to exceed the Bank of Thailand’s one-to-three per cent target.
The Ministry of Finance’s plan to support and develop green finance and sustainable banking in Thailand will also be discussed in the private briefing, chaired by Asia House Chief Executive Michael Lawrence.
Convened on the sidelines of the IMF meeting in Washington DC, the briefing will provide Corporate Members with unique insights from a key figure shaping policy in Southeast Asia’s second largest economy.
