Asia House to host ASEAN Secretary-General, HE Le Luong Minh, at a conference organised in partnership with KPMG.

ASEAN Strategy – Seizing the New Regional Opportunity

ASEAN is an exciting growing market. With high-growth rates, a youthful labour force and a vibrant rising middle class, the region is attracting global attention. But regulatory barriers for conducting international business remain and regional and local players are emerging to compete with foreign incumbents. As the region prepares for the launch of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), developing smart regional strategies is ever more relevant for multinationals (MNCs) seeking to reap the benefits of a more integrated market.

This Signature Conference, held in partnership with KPMG, will draw on the findings of the report titled MNCs in Southeast Asia which shares take-away points from the CEOs of 10 MNCs in the ASEAN region.  Discussions will look at the commercial implications of further economic integration and how MNCs are shaping their regional strategies in the face of greater competition.
