The Asia House Asian Business Leaders Award Dinner 2017 will take place on 27 November in Hong Kong.
Tony Fernandes, founder and Group CEO of AirAsia, will receive the prestigious Award at our annual Gala Dinner, to be held at the Asia Society Hong Kong Center.
Nazir Razak, Chairman of CIMB, will be delivering a gala address at the Dinner.
Asia House presents the Asia Business Leaders Award to those individuals who have driven positive economic and social change in the region. We are recognising Mr Fernandes this year because he has championed greater integration and cooperation within ASEAN.
Under Mr Fernandes’s leadership, AirAsia has grown to become the region’s leading low-cost airline, transforming the Asian aviation industry and making it possible for millions of people to access air travel.
Gala Dinner
The gala evening celebrates the enormous social impact of commercial enterprise which, at its best, promotes values of leadership and service that can be felt far beyond the boardroom. Tremendous opportunities for social change are created by business leaders through these shared values.
The Dinner also serves as an opportunity to join us in celebrating the vital work of Asia House in bringing the UK and Asia closer through our pioneering activities across business, policy and culture.
