Heather Wheeler, UK Minister for Asia and the Pacific
With Brexit fast approaching, the UK is aiming to develop new policies to direct its future trade and investment strategy. Asian markets – which include some of the fastest-growing in the world – will play an important role in these plans.
Heather Wheeler, MP for South Derbyshire, was recently appointed Parliamentary Under Secretary of State (Minister for Asia and the Pacific) at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) by Prime Minister Boris Johnson. The Minister will visit Asia House on 10 September to brief Corporate Members on the UK’s approach and prospects in Asia, as well as her role and priorities at the FCO.
This briefing is held exclusively for Asia House Corporate Members. For more information, please contact aini.abdullah@asiahouse.co.uk.
