Asia is going digital. With more than one billion Internet users, the region is home to the largest global online population.
Increased access to broadband networks and affordable smartphones is changing the way people communicate, shop, travel or keep track of their finances.
The entrepreneurial environment is vibrant and growing. Asia has the opportunity to leapfrog to the digital future, putting one of the world’s most dynamic regions on a sustainable growth path.
Capturing the gains of this shift however hinges on the ability of businesses to develop innovative products and services. It will also require governments to foster an enabling regulatory environment. What are the prospects of Asia’s digital transformation? How fast are governments and businesses embracing this trend? Which countries are leading the digitisation of the region? What impact will it have on the overall economy of the region and beyond?
This signature conference, held in partnership with McKinsey, will bring together business leaders, senior policymakers, innovators and entrepreneurs to explore how technology is transforming Asia and discuss what businesses and governments must do to ensure digitisation supports sustainable growth.
