HE Saikhanbileg Chimed, Prime Minister of Mongolia, will join Asia House corporate members for an exclusive private briefing to discuss the trade and investment environment in Mongolia. The Mongolian Government has identified energy, mining, and infrastructure as key priority sectors for inward investment over the coming decade and the Prime Minister is visiting Russia and the United States as well as the UK to engage with stakeholders in Mongolia’s future.
HE Saikhanbileg Chimed was appointed Prime Minister in 2014. Prior to this he was a Member of the State Great Hural (Parliament) and Leader of the Democratic Party caucus in 2012. He has held various government posts including Minister of Education and from 2012 to 2014 he served as Chief Secretariat to the Cabinet. Before entering politics he was a Director of private law firm E&T.
