Sri Mulyani, Minister of Finance, Indonesia
Indonesia’s Minister of Finance, Sri Mulyani, will brief Asia House Corporate Members on 11 October in the sidelines of the G20 Finance Ministers Meetings in Washington DC.
Speaking just weeks before Indonesia hosts the G20 in Bali, Mulyani will outline the country’s aims for the summit, and provide an update on Indonesia’s economic outlook.
Asia House Corporate Members will have the opportunity to engage with the Minister on key issues and opportunities arising in Indonesia, which has seen a dramatic improvement in its investment environment, with President Jokowi driving a range of measures to position Indonesia as a priority destination for global investment.
The role of Indonesian reforms and policy changes, such as the Omnibus Law and the establishment of a new Ministry of Investment to attract FDI, will also be discussed in this off-the-record briefing, chaired by Asia House Chief Executive, Michael Lawrence.
