Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Investment, His Excellency Khalid Al-Falih, spoke at Asia House on Thursday 14 September during a private, off-the-record briefing on the Kingdom’s changing economic, regulatory, and investment landscape.
His Excellency briefed Asia House Corporate Members and its wider network on the fast-paced economic reforms and regulatory changes being introduced in the Kingdom to encourage foreign business and investment, as well as Saudi Arabia’s progress developing and expanding new economic sectors under Vision 2030.
His Excellency addressed recent developments in sectors such as tourism and mining, as well as Saudi Arabia’s role in global supply chains and growth in its human capital. Guests benefited from the Minister’s reflections on the Kingdom’s strategic partnerships in Asia, namely China and India, including the recently announced India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor.
HE Khalid Al-Falih has been Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Investment since February 2020, and is recognised for driving transformation in Saudi Arabia’s key sectors. His Excellency previously served as the Kingdom’s Minister of Energy, Industry, and Mineral Resources, Minister of Health, and Chairman of Saudi Aramco.
