Asia House is seeking a Programme Manager to join our Business and Policy unit.
The Programme Manager will research and deliver original and insightful events on the key issues affecting Asia and the UK.
Based on the needs of corporate clients, he/she will curate and deliver conferences and briefings with high-profile decision-makers in business and policy from Asia and Europe.
The Programme Manager will produce events to the highest standard which deliver real value to our corporate members and our wider group of stakeholders.
He/she will also provide briefings for senior Asia House representatives as they engage with UK and Asian governments, independent institutions and multinational corporations.
The ideal candidate is most likely to have a background in journalism, public affairs or research, possibly for a think tank, and will have had hands on experience organising and running events for business audiences..
The Programme Manager must have a knowledge and understanding of international relations, global politics and macroeconomics, and business.
He/she will be a consummate networker with good contacts and be able to spot key issues and trends that will interest senior corporate figures and policy-makers.
Asia House is an independent and impartial forum for discussion and debate.
The Programme Manager must be capable of working with global institutions in Europe and Asia, as well as some of the world’s biggest names in finance and industry and politics, to deliver events ranging from small, private, high-level briefings to agenda-setting public conferences.
