    The British Ambassador to Indonesia Mark Canning CMG and President International of Monitise Peter Radcliffe spoke at a private briefing held by Asia House on Thursday, 15 May.

    The topics of the roundtable discussion, which was held under the Chatham House Rule, included the upcoming Indonesian presidential election, the various political parties, the impact on foreign companies doing business in Indonesia, the pace of reform, infrastructure, corruption, business etiquette, working in Indonesia and Indonesia’s relationship with the UK.

    Companies represented at the briefing included Anglo American, Arup, Rio Tinto, Telstra and Prudential.
