The pace of economic growth in China, the transition towards a consumption and services-led economy and the benefits and opportunities of the Belt and Road, were among the topics discussed at a roundtable discussion and briefing with China’s Ambassador to the UK H.E. Liu Xiaoming.
Imports and exports, steel, structural reforms, overcapacity, supply side reforms, innovation and entrepreneurship, the arbitration on the South China Sea, green investments and the digital economy were also covered in the briefing, which attracted huge interest from members.
