Tables are now available to book for the Asia House Asian Business Leaders Award Dinner 2018, taking place in Singapore this November.
The Asia House gala event, held at the Fullerton Hotel on the evening of Thursday 22 November, will see Dr Kai-Fu Lee – the global thought-leader in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and a premier venture capitalist – honoured with the Award.

Dr Lee is the Chairman and CEO of Sinovation Ventures – a leading Beijing-based technology investment firm focusing on developing the next generation of Chinese high-tech companies. It manages US$1.7 billion dual currency investment funds.
By supporting an array of tech firms in both China and the West that are driving change in the global economy, Dr Lee is playing a key role in creating value via AI technology.
Examples include 4Paradigm AI, which went on to secure investment from three Chinese state banks – the first AI start-up to do so. It’s ‘Prophet’ AI platform is transforming the finance industry, boosting performance across transaction anti-fraud, loss warnings, liquidity management, smart collection, and asset disposal.
SmartFinance Group is another company supported by Sinovation Ventures which is revolutionising the lending market in China while solving a socio-economic challenge. The tech firm enables China’s underbanked population to access credit quickly and easily online, and was the first large scale firm in China to build AI into its entire credit lending process.
The author of a new book on AI and its impact on global economics, Dr Lee has consistently advocated policies which seek to ensure millions of people around the world are not left behind by emerging technologies. He will be giving an acceptance speech at the Dinner.
The Asia House Asian Business Leaders Award Dinner traditionally brings together leading figures in global business and diplomacy, with government ministers, ambassadors and senior executives in attendance. It is a chance to celebrate the important work Asia House does in driving economic engagement between Europe and Asia, as well as the wider social value that commercial enterprise creates.

The Dinner will follow Asia House’s signature conference, ‘Asia Trade in the New Global Order,’ also taking place in Singapore on 22 November.
