Asia House will bring the global trade debate to the Middle East this April with a major conference in Dubai.
Held in partnership with DMCC, The New Global Trade Order will provide insights and analysis to help business leaders and policy makers better understand – and capitalise on – the new global trade order.
President Trump’s America First policy, Britain’s decision to leave the European Union and China’s positioning as the champion of globalisation are all contributing to a shift in the established global order, while ongoing advances in tech continue to disrupt global commerce.
Meanwhile, in the Middle East, trade with Asia is already increasing and is likely to grow further as Asian economies rise, creating the need for new trade hubs in the region.
How these factors will shape the new trading architecture, and the business opportunities that will follow, will be the principal focus of the conference.
Asia House and DMCC will be assembling thought-leaders from business and senior government figures to join more than 200 delegates from the private sector, governments, academia and the media to explore the new global trade order.
The conference will take place on 22 April 2018 at Almas Tower, Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
